Yola Campus
The Nigerian Law School (NLS) provides legal education to students and prepares them for Bar admission exams. Anyone with an undergraduate law degree is eligible to sit the NLS exams and become a lawyer in Nigeria. Course offerings at this government-owned institution include criminal and civil litigation, property law and corporate law as well as ethics classes. Students attending the Lagos campus are not only expected to engage with lectures during lectures but are encouraged to ask questions and participate in class discussions. In class, lecturers won’t tolerate students using phones during class or making noise; additionally there are tasks students must complete in order to pass each course successfully and maximize your Law School experience and enhance understanding.
Students are expected to arrive early for class in order to ensure they’re prepared for each day’s lessons, starting at 8 AM until late afternoon; lecturers take place from then until 6PM with a 30 minute break midday for lunch; formal attire must also be worn to class.
Lagos campus students have various accommodation options available to them. General accommodation comprises six people per room while executive accommodation comprises single rooms with their own bathrooms and toilets – both options have associated fees from National Language Services; furthermore, students must pay an annual student welfare fee of N20,000 in order to maintain their accommodation.
Yenagoa Campus

Ikeja Campus

Students must attend group meetings daily as part of their coursework. Failing to do so will result in a query, an invitation from an administrative panel to appear and explain any alleged infringments against academic standards or conduct.
Port Harcourt Campus
The Port Harcourt campus of the law school is a multi-billion naira complex situated on an expansive expanse of land amidst lush greenery. This multi-million naira facility includes boys and girls dormitories, classroom blocks, laboratory blocks, typing pool, administrative block and living quarters for both academic and non-academic staff members. Nyesom Wike, Governor of Rivers State has promised that Rivers State Law School will become self-sustaining. He stated this commitment shortly after inspecting its structures in Port Harcourt along with Chief Emeka Ngige of Council of Legal Education and Prof Isa Hayatu Chiroma of Nigerian Law School Director General.

Abuja Campus
The Nigerian Law School was established in 1962 and since then it has produced many leaders who advocate the use of law to transform society. Situated on Ozumba Mbadiwe Road in Lagos, its campus provides various facilities to students including housing and lecture rooms as well as library/research centre services.
Accommodation at law school is generally adequate, though it can become cramped with too many students in one room. Rooms consist of two-man rooms with beds on either end; you share bathroom and toilet facilities with other roommates; they are well maintained with balconies for some apartments and can even pay an outside cleaner to come clean your room for a fee; be sure to treat these workers with respect!
Lagos campus lecturers are very interactive and encourage their students to ask questions. They also assign tasks, expecting you to respond in class. Their rules regarding manners are extremely strict – phones may be confiscated during lectures if found being used during lecture time! Group meetings are mandatory; otherwise they will issue queries against you for not attending them.
Law schools in Lagos generally provide satisfactory accommodation; however, too many students sharing one room may make things cramped and cramped. You may also find hostels outside of law school which offer nicer living quarters; these will typically cost more money.
